Detached and characteristic wooden chalet, located between forests and fields, wonderful for cycling and hiking. The holiday home has been completely renovated in 2018 and is perfect for groups of family of 6 people who are looking for peace and quiet. The chalet has very pleasant furnishings and exudes a quiet and nice atmosphere. On the ground floor you'll find a living/dining room and one bedroom with a small double bed. You have access to the terrace in front of the house through the garden doors in the living room. Next to the garden shed in the back of the garden you'll find a second terrace with garde n furniture. On the first floor are the other bedrooms and the bathroom. You have a stunning view of the trees and birds in the forest from every room. There are 5 bicycles and one children's bike available. Norg is a beautiful village in the northwest of Drenthe, just 17 km south of the city of Groningen and 12 km from the centre of Assen. In the area you'll find many different shops, outdoor cafes and restaurants. For the children there's a subtropical subtropical swimming pool and beach with natural water. There are various activities during different seasons in the villages around Norg. Fairs, flea markets, races, a visit to toy museum in Roden, the jail museum in Veenhuizen, a visit to beer brewery Maallust in Veenhuizen (with tasting room) or a day trip to Groningen, where you can visit the comic museum or go shopping. There's always enough to do in the area!
