So this is an ideal location for people with children. This home is in a rural setting in the northern part of the Lot department about 10 km from the Dordogne River. This is a great place for swimming, canoeing or sunbathing on one of the little riverside beaches. The towns of Sarlat and Brive (30 km) are a bit farther away. The area also has an abundance of caves with prehistoric paintings and impressive limestone formations, such as the Grottes de Cougnac (10 km) and the Gouffre de Padirac (30 km).
